Also, I feel like in regards to S2 of isekai quartet: One of the transfer groups will be naofumi & crew. Or villains. I would be more than happy if say, Betelgeuse and Clementine got transferred in.

It was a pretty vicious play but I had clear recall on Weevil vs Joey so I just loaded up an Insect deck and pulled the same anti-Insect junk he would've on me. We both had full fields and spent ten minutes straight passing turns, it was nuts. If it'd been a human with sense I would've lost in five turns I bet

A little not so action paced in terms of anime, but I just finished watching the first season of THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls. And while not as good for me as the original one, it's still good for me to actually watch the second season. That said, the point of this post is not to tell you to watch it, but for me to rate the characters once more. I did it when I watched around 3 or 4 episodes. Now that I watched 13, I guess this is a more accurate opinion on these idols, which would be...

1.- Anastasia: Obviously #1. Short hair, it's very caring of the other girls, it's not super annoying, and most important, has a lot of hand holding moments and close scenes with another idol. I love when they Yuri up idols, which in this case would be... (even without Yuri moments she would be #1 so don't think I'm being bias).

2.- Minami: She is pretty serious and devoted, but also lesbians it up with Anastasia (at least so far). I like her attitude and how calm the character is.

3.- Rin: I thought she was going to be a budget Chihaya, but she turned out to be, while not as passionate in being an idol, in searching what is it about that. Pretty straight forward character.

4.- Uzuki: A kind of Haruka-ish character, being the main character of the show. But so far, it's not that much focus on Uzuki, which is surprising. Somewhat of a spoiler, I guess, but she doesn't even take leader ship on the unit nor the first concert. Kind of weird despite being the main character. I didn't have her that high the first time for sure, the spoiler moments bump her up for me.

5.- Ranko: A really...random character, to say the least. Goth style, weird manner of expressing herself, but funny. I thought she was going to be more of a bother later on, but she proved to be quite the contrary.

From here, I don't have strong opinions, so it'll be shorter (except the last 2).

6.- Kirari: A super tall one! Pretty funny, and her combo with Anzu is pretty cool. Also, I kind of like they didn't put them both on a unit, shows they can work without each other.

7.- Mio: Energetic, but doesn't give the same vibes as the Futami Twins from the OG. Still cool, and I like the short hair!

8.- Miria: Some shorty pigtail hairstyle idol. Cute, but nothing particular or outstanding, at least for me.

9.- Cheiri: Actual budget Yukiho, without shovel or Makoto Yuri potential shenanigans. Nothing special.

10.- Anzu: I do remember putting her at the last place last time, and Spidey told me "You're crazy wrong. She gets better". And lo and behold! Despite the lazy act, she clutches when needed, but not in silly or "miracle" ways, much unlike some other blondie idol (Miki...you're still dead last on the OG idols!)

11.- Kanako: I often forget she is in here. Poor sweets gal, but they barely give her screen time, so yeah.

12.- Rika: Another blondie idol, and I don't have good experiences from them. I like the style she brings, but she is mostly talking about how cool her sister is instead of herself. At least there's love between siblings.

13 & 14.- Riina and Miku: Would you look at that. It's * Asterisk! I hated the episode that focused on them. It was like the mini Miki arc from the original THE iDOLM@STER, except this was only 1 episode, and it was the worst episode I've seen, in terms of iDOLM@STER. Absolutely dreadful combo, between parroting from Rock to Nyas, it's beyond unbearable. I almost had to mute that episode. Almost. If you ever watch Cinderella Girls, just skip episode 11. It's trash.

If you like them as idols or characters, that's cool. Nothing wrong with that. I just don't like them. At all. Now, pardon the long post, but I had to re-post the list. Why? Good question.

Not bad. I'm glad we can agree rock girl and Nyaa are gutter trash. Anzu is lower than I would rank, but not bad. Uzuki the best followed by Ranko imo. I would rank Rika higher. Cinderella girls compared to OG cast has a lot of characters that I just dont care about in general. Also more characters that I dislike.

Literally all I know about iM@S is:

1) It's that one idol show that was direct competition against Love Live
2) Costumes from it were in Tekken 7 as customization equipment
3) Fanartists have drawn tons and tons of hentai of the girls
4) Sachiko is either extremely egotistical or a complete idiot, maybe both

Considering there's basically like 1 game in the last 2 decades where there was any sign of an implied romantic relationship in an atelier game (which wasn't even straight up canon, cuz it was additional content in Eschatology plus), I wouldn't expect any sort of male to female relation in an Atelier game lul.

They also had a great chance to slip one in during Lulua but uh we know how that turns out

Also it's pretty bizarre that she clearly has big boobs and they're as static as a concrete wall. I don't think every game should have jiggle physics per se but if they're sexualizing her blatantly, might as well go all the way

Woke up way too early, decided to marathon season 2 of Aggretsuko.... hearing Billy Kametz voicing that psychopathic new guy Anai after hearing him as calmer characters like Josuke and Naofumi for the past year or so was a real shock. The season itself was awesome though, and Retsuko just kept getting better and better with every episode. I really hope we get more, because this show is way better than it has any business being.

It's an adaption of novels about El Melloi (Waver). There was an episode 0 that aired awhile ago. I'm hyped for it since Melloi is the dude. So it's basically a side series.

oh yeah also question I wanted to ask all the yuri fanatics here: yurimaster came out on steam sorta recently and it's some yuri VN about a bunch of girls working in gamedev or whatever. the weird thing about its setting though is that men literally don't exist and they all reproduce through whatever that meme thing they mentioned in saki was. Like not just that there are no male characters but they completely do not exist in the setting/world at all. a few people I know were reading it and most of them dropped it because they thought it seemed too weirdly forced and that it made them feel like aliens instead of humans.

one of them said something like "yuri is good because they're with another girl instead of a guy, if guys don't exist it loses all its appeal". wondering what you guys think of that or if you've ever had similar thoughts
