Great podcast Peridiam. Rob seemed to really enjoy it which I actually was kinda surprised by because I felt like this was territory he treads every week on TWISH, but I guess he enjoyed talking about these moves from this particular direction.

TAR last week - what was up with that treasure finding detour? It seemed to be impossible - Chris and Brett were at it forever and couldn't find anything, and the other teams that tried it never got anything and gave up. Are impossible trick detours a thing? Were they supposed to give up? I can't imagine how this was possible at all if one team couldn't do it, when multiple teams doing it would have been vying for the same coins. You can say it's their fault for not switching sooner, but personally I would never have been able to complete the other detour and would have assumed that at some point I would eventually find the coins and stayed at the diving task.

Also does anyone know if Canadians can view the feeds this year? I think last year CBS All Access became available in Canada but we didn't get feeds, and I think I heard that would only be for a year. I haven't found confirmation though and the live feeds site says "Big Brother Live Feeds and full episodes available in US only."

I think the issue there is that they were supposed to be looking under the buoys, and not along the shore within the semi-circle the buoys created. At a point they showed a zoomed out view and highlighted the areas around the buoys in a "they're doing it wrong, see?!" kind of shot.

Yeah that was lost on me. I couldn't tell the difference between what they were doing and what they were supposed to be doing.

I foresee this as a Switchback someday.

I don't know why they cast these people who are twice the age of everyone else. They're just easy first boots which means if they're there for an older audience they aren't going to keep them around for very long.

I don't have a problem with them casting older people, it's when they cast just ONE older person that becomes an issue. We need a wide variety of ages and ethnicities and world views. 12/16 people being social media models is so extremely boring.

Well yeah this is pretty much my opinion. Theoretically older people SHOULD be more successful in BB than Survivor because in BB they don't come with the "physical liability" label that they do on Survivor, but socially it's just difficult for one person who is twice as old as the rest of the cast to fit in and they are usually disposed of early as an easy vote. Whatever season Karen is on I haven't seen, but I know it didn't happen in 19 because Paul and Cody got into a pissing contest, allowing Kevin more time to slink his way into an alliance. But out of the seasons I've seen, when you don't have two ultra-alphas going at each other like that in the first week, it's "just ditch the old guy." It even happened in CBB1 and would have happened in CBB2 if Anthony hadn't quit.

This is unrelated to BB21 but I enjoyed the LFC Ranking the 20 BBUS seasons and then adding the 10 spinoff seasons for a top 30 list.

I spent the whole time clenched ready to hate on Brent for giving my favourite season a low rating but then it turned out he gave it a super star rating way above everyone else that dragged it to a high spot.

There are a lot of really good teams on 27; the top 6 is REALLY strong character wise. The heroes are all genuinely nice people who really seem like they're having fun and loving the race. One villain team is hilarious, and the other is, well, yeah, but even they have had their moments. They seem like they are probably good people deep down but Justin's over enthusiasm for the race brings out something ugly in him, plus he's obnoxious as hell.
