There is no way people actually think that New Orleans is trying to move up to TWO to pick Barret. If they go to 2, they want Morant. Barret is gonna be available at 3 and maybe even 4 itself.

But they did take on Hills contract. Not bad for them but that alone is worth the shift from 4 to 8 for the Pelicans

Hill has an expiring contract no? Unless the Pelicans plan to make substantial activity on the free agent market, I can't imagine Hill's remaining contract was that awful.

It took 2 1st rounders to move Crabbes expiring 17m.

So moving back to 8 and getting a 17 too to shift 12m expiring is pretty good considering the Crabbe deal
