Are we talking about a single entry or a franchise?
In some cases we're talking single entry (Dumb & Dumber) but in others we are talking an entire franchise (Resident Evil). Check what's in the parentheses next to each entrant.

We are exclusively looking for officially released entries into each series in a single form of media, i.e. "The Simpsons" only covers the TV series and not the movie. "The Beatles" only covers music that was released on their albums and not quotes from interviews or their movies.

I don't like the quotes you chose! There are better ones!

Post them then! I am choosing popular examples to jog peoples' memories. If an entrant makes it to the next round I will change it up and I'm always taking suggestions.

Our closest match since Castlevania/Always Sunny and our latest one-vote-wonder! This contest is becoming surprisingly entertaining. For me, at least.

Now the doctor came in, stinking of gin, and proceeded to lie on the table. He said, "Venkman, you met your match."

The Beatles shot out the gate with 4 consecutive votes, and I thought for sure the Beatles was some kind of surprise juggernaut and people just forgot every classic Ghostbusters quote. But then Ghostbusters fired back with its own 4 votes and the lead was literally back and forth up until the last post. It's cool to see matches like this in a "Most Quotable" contest of all things. I would have been happy with either result but it's cool to see one of our few Music entries get to round 2.

"JonTron! If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."

Are we going to see Futurama ride this crushing victory all the way to finals, or did I fuck up the bracket and make Monty Python v Futurama way too early? Something tells me Futurama could easily beat those trained professionals.
