They might not have uploaded them, though. They might be on someones VHS or something. For the second part, the network may not have copies. I mean, they lose stuff sometimes. Have you seen the media room at that back alley dump of NBC? Nothing but tapes strewn about anywhere, and that's if you're lucky enough to even find an address for their fly by night operation. Every day they just reach into the pile and air whatever they happen to grab. Good luck if you ever need them to locate something specific. I've been agreeing with you. Why would NBC hang on to any old shows? It's not like they like making money should demand for something arises, so they just burn all their tapes as soon as a show goes off the air. But if they ever decide to meet that demand, they just reshoot everything again, shot for shot, and use computers for whatever's off slightly. And no way would they ever hand their stuff over to some rando. Some rando wouldn't even be able to find out where they are.
