I need to learn how to find time again to read, I purchased a few books (Foucault's Pendulum, War in 140 Characters, Zucked, The Red Web) but I always just revert back to video games -_-

I just go with whatever I feel like at the time. I read a novel in about three days, then switch to gaming for awhile. I spent the last weekish reading a trilogy and am playing games now.

Honestly just watch tv when I am dead tired after a long day or trying to go to sleep. Have a bunch of movies on backlog that I haven't had time to get around to, haven't even watched infinity war yet...

Oh, that's a good use of your commute.

I have to drive, and I know I could use audiobooks but I prefer holding the book in my hands :\

Just whenever I feel like. Reading is a lot faster, for sheer data processed, than many games and most movies.

Currently re-reading Memoirs of a Geisha for maybe the 20th time in as many years. It's my favorite book!

I'm home early enough in the afternoon that I can get in a couple hours of gaming before dinner, maybe watch a few episodes of whatever show I'm working on while I eat, then read in bed before turning in for the night. I also keep a second book at work to read over my lunch breaks, so I'm usually working on a couple things at once.

I generally dont read for time balance issues as the rare book that does grab my attention is usually pretty long. This does have one benefit imo though. The less you do of something the more you enjoy it or rather the less critical you are of the particular entry you are consuming.

As for video games thats my main hobby im quick to jump on whenever I'm in thr mood. Tv I only pick a handful of shows I keep up with so my time isnt dominated by it. So a few hours a week on that while the shows im interested in are in season. Main one in the past years has been the flash and legends of tomorrow.

The half hour to an hour in bed before i fall asleep is spent reading. Leaves plenty of time for family, gym and gaming.

I do all those too, with gaming I only seem to find time at the weekends now, sometimes I'll read whilst watching tv,but movies will get my full attention and sometimes I'll read for a couple of hours in bed before sleeping

I listen to Warhammer 40k audiobooks on my way to and from work and if I'm working alone.

Just started the 24th Horus Heresy novel, Betrayer. Looks like there's going to be all kinds of wacky Word Bearers + World Eaters adventures.
