If you havent watched this one yet I recommend it. Im always wary of Netflix original films because they seem to be all over the map in terms of quality but this was a really good cerebral sci-fi flick

I watched it and it was ok, but like Bird Box, I felt like nothing was resolved. Has there been any news on the Bright sequel/s?

In fairness, theres absolutely nothing you can do when Lovecraftian creatures decide to stick around forever.

I really enjoyed I am Mother. Bit of a dark ending but one I actually liked. Interesting enough certain aspects of the plot I didn't notice till I read up about them later on some forums. For example I didn't bother converting the initial number of days when Daughter was a teenager till some folks commented it was about 38 years later which is about the age of that Women. I didn't realize what Mother meant by how she survived for so long till after that.

I'm hoping for one as well and perhaps going into more detail about Ward being a Bright. I'm hoping they just had schedule conflict with Smith filming in Aladdin.

She also watch Carson as a child and theres no way she saw him live while hiding out in the mines, meaning mother showed it to her in the bunker before leaving her out to be adopted.

For whatever reason I thought the extinction event was more recent so the Women not having watched it live didn't click in my mind and I simply thought she mighta watched a rerun recording.

On another note, I wonder if Mother woulda kept the second daughter if her scores were better or if Mother would still abort her and her remains left in the incinerator to trigger a reaction with Daughter.
