You wouldn't have a vet bill if you use the car loan. You'd just have a car loan, but rates are alright. I was once quoted like over $1000 to have my dogs tooth pulled by one vet, only to have another vet offer to do it for almost nothing if they did it while he was under while getting neutered. The GoFundMe is up to $322 last I checked and I also hear that we might qualify for a grant that will give us $200 towards the surgery.
