21 y/o Tyler M. Kiger from La Porte, Indiana was charged with involuntary manslaughter after he PUNCHED his 15 y/o brother in the Head for VAPING INDOORS..and the punch KILLED him!!

He killed his 15 y/o brother, Michael after Tyler punched his brother at their great grandmother's home which resulted in a fractured skull

A preliminary hearing states that Michael had called 911 on the evening of June 7th to report he had been "battered" by his little brother and "complained of pain to his head" and said he was having a hard time hearing out one of his ears.

Michael was said to have been "very frantic" and "emotional" during the call but by the time police and first responders arrived, his speech began to slow and was said ot be screaming and yelling at the 911 call. Before they arrived, he told dispatchers he wanted to "go to sleep"

Their great grandmother refused permission to allow first responders access his condition or even take him to the hospital. Instead, he was taken to where his mother was staying

They were unable to revive him at either home and was declared dead at the hospital.

That's when Tyler admitted he used his right fist to punch Michael on the left side of the head as an autopsy revealed a fractured skull and led to bleeding in his brain.

Rop Papke, the brother's father posted a live video stating the death was unintentional and said "The truth of this matter is that this was a case of 2 brothers that got into it. two brothers getting into it as 2 brothers would. only this time it didn't end well"

He said he posted it so people "knew the truth"

His obituary states the teen was very energetic, fun loving and sometimes annoying who had a heart for animals, especially their pet chickens. people knew him as "Money Mike"

If you were the dad, would you want your son to go to prison for causing the death of your other son?

depends, what if the one who died was a junkie or something and the other son was defending himself

Grandmother does not seem to have been involved. But yes, if there is any evidence indicating that he could have lived if he had gone to the hospital right away, at least the great grandmother should be charged with criminal lethal neglect, or whatever the legal phrasing would be.

Sounds like she potentially knew he was gonna die and wanted him to be with his mother maybe

Yeah no. I've never punched my brother in the head and never will for obvious reasons.
