Theres no other way about it. These people are SO personally victimized about him taking the role of Batman because he was in Twilight over 10 years ago.

Im seeing comments like he doesnt deserve Batman, or hes not MY Batman and its like... do you only watch anime and marvel movies? Have you... seen Pattinson in anything since the Twilight franchise? Your personality beginning and ending at flaming actors from a movie that wasnt for your demographic shows... some problems.

Twilight wasnt even the worst thing in the world. Why do we still cling to it like it was the worst thing ever, especially when Batman vs Superman exists? Suicide Squad?

I remember being in high school and hearing my English teacher talk to the class about how his daughter was reading it and... the just of what he said was I try to get my daughter to ONLY read good fiction. Things like Twilight drain your brain and if you need proof of that, look at the fangirls lining up for the movie premiere because theyre too stupid to wait to see it in a less crowded theatre.

Like okay buddy. Nobody gives a shit when you wait outside a store for 12 hours on Thanksgiving for Black Friday, but sure, take a shit on women for going to a premiere of a thing they like a lot. Im sure you feel way smarter than them.

they were planning on this movie for a very long time. its just that there was an actor change. they always meant to make this movie but it was supposed to be Ben Affleck. but poor performance of the franchise eventually had him leave. people blamed Aflleck but it wasn't his fault. the franchise is just being handled bad. personally I honestly believe he was the greatest actor of Batman ever. but I know people will laugh at that cause they can't see past the bad script, and people love to blame the actors for bad writing.

it's not really a reboot or wasn't supposed to be. it was envisioned as a sequel to Justice League. but the connected universe fell apart.

Okay, stop trolling, it's obviously from fucking Twilight! Glancing through his filmography, the ONLY blockbuster he's been in has been the Twilight franchise (well, in addition to a supporting role in the Harry Potter films which got him that job -- but no blockbusters *since* the Twilight films) and most of his films have lost money. There are thousands of indie actors more talented than him -- many of whom are in things that *make* money -- but he got picked. Why do you think that would be if not for Twilight?
