It's not schadenfreude exactly, or is it?

Ok, lets say you like markiplier, he's a cool chill guy most the time and rages occasionally...

But very very rarely will he get salty... and I saw a video of markiplier getting salty, and it was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

The last 30 minutes or so of Welcome to the Game 2 - Part 6, it's in stark contrast to his optimism at the start

Funny enough I learned that word during the 2014 World Cup when Germany tore Brazil a new one.

Thinking about that game, at some point I was "This game is over, might as well stop beating the dead horse" but it eventually passed the threshold into "We might as well keep going and see how bad of a slaughter this can get." All this being said, I thought there is some official ruling in some/all sports where at some point the officials will end it if it is obvious the other team cannot recover and win?

Schadenfreude probably. That and at times karma. I enjoy seeing karma do its thing.

Oh!

A perfect example. The Christian Bale "Ooohhhhhh, good for youuuuuu" rant. He's being very salty and it's hilarious.

Schadenfreude doesn't seem to apply since there's no injury.

Schadenfreude doesnt necessarily involve injury.

You might as well consider it schadenfreude, just a different kind from the judgmental spite that most people think of when they hear that word. What you're thinking of maybe has more of a 'trainwreck' aspect to it, or the entertainment value of watching people completely lose their cool.
