The Toronto Raptors became the latest NBA Championship sensation as they were the first and only Canadian team EVER to win the title...and Shooting Guard Danny Green said they will NOT accept an invitation to the White House to meet Trump but they will go to the Canadian Parliament to see JUSTIN TRUDEAU..despite the fact that all the team members are AMERICAN!!

The 32 y/o addressed the issue on his podcast with co-host Harrison Sanford who asked green if he and the raptors would accept the invite and he said "I just don't think that we accept. I think it's a hard no"

The June 13th NBA Finals victory is the first for the Canadian franchise that began it's international team in 1995

Green grew up in Long Island, not far from Trump's hometown of NYC and while he won't meet Trump for his racist and dividing nature, he will happily meat the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau at the parliament.

He said "I'm looking forward to it. It's different stuff that i'm looking forward too..just to see how Trudeau operates, his atmosphere, work. His kid's a big fan. His son, he says i'm his favourite, i don't know if it's true or not But Trudeau said it in front of the team"

He mentions unlike Trudeau, Trump has verbally attacked many of his country's popular athletes including former NFL QB, Colin Kaepernick and condemned NBA Star Lebron James intelligence

Trump has become a pariah among pro athletes including Green, James and Golden State Warrior stars, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant

In May, MLB Champion Houston Astros bucked the trend and declined to meet and shake hands with the president
