I feel like it may be a bit weird to watch in your 30s, like you can't really bring it up with most people (same with wrestling). If it's something that tries to be visually distinctive like Gurren Laggan/Noein or shies away from typical shonen like Monster/Serial Experiments Lain I'll give it a go. If anyone's got recommendations, I'm down. My close friend almost exclusively watches anime and I constantly roll my eyes while watching stuff like Black Clover and Shield Hero at his house. I don't mind watching it, but I don't want to be known for watching it. Skye Reynolds was actually an alt account created so that people familiar with my main wouldn't know that I watched anime. I don't want to watch something that's streamed illegally. I don't want to look a cashier in the eye when I purchase it. And I don't want Netflix tattling to anyone using my account that I'm an anime fan.
