Quarantined subs usually shrivel up and die eventually because of the restrictions set on them. T_D is kind of a special case though because it is kind of the center of the right wing space on reddit right now since Trump is the US president. So what happens next I couldnt say. Usually the restrictions make it much harder to find and get into the subreddit as a new user or returning one. You need a verified email, you HAVE to be logged in to read the sub, the subreddit wont show up in public search results anymore, and you have to opt-in to read it. This is in addition to other restrictions the admins put on the sub. For example they disabled T_Ds ability to have custom CSS because it deliberately prevented people from downvoting or reporting posts (unless you turned it off, but all CSS is enabled by default and there might be ways to hide the button to disable it).
