What's funny is a few Trump slurpers went onto r/politics to try to stir shit up. They were REEEEEE'ing about being "censored" for violating a company's TOS, and when someone made the counter point of "you mean just like they do on The_Donald to anyone who says anything negative about Trump?" They answered with petty attempts at personal insults and how we all "wanted free shit". Their basic argument was essentially "I know you are, but what am I?" One person literally posted "We're not the fascists, you're the fascists!"

No wonder this crew loves someone who debates like a first grader, they're just like him.

Only threads I've seen had a handful of upvotes. On a sub with 750k subscribers with posts daily reaching thousands of upvotes.

I'm not melting down at all. If I were in their position, I'd have done the same to save my own ass. I won't even deny that. Ultimately, if I owned Reddit, it's my responsibility at the end of the day to make sure this stuff didn't happen.

I refuse to believe nobody has a screen shot of this.

This is the internet, you know? If there's an opportunity to make your political enemies look bad, people are going to take it. So, in my view, I expect this picture to have leaked by now. It's certainly interesting to me that hasn't happened yet. So, either 1) all evidence is in Police custody and we're not allowed to see it (understandably so) and somehow, nobody else got a screen shot of this or 2) something fishy is going on.

The internet usually has these kinds of leaks. That's all I'm saying. Wouldn't it behoove other reddits and communities who were against T_D to show off the pic?

How do you compare hate? If somebody says "This weighs more than that", we can observe a scale. How are you measuring "hate" on politics versus T_D?

Friendly reminder that The_Donald supported and advertised for the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville up until Fields murdered that woman. Even after the night of the tiki march and the "Jews will not replace us", they still advertised it. It was only after they realized a potential murder implication that they wiped the fucking sub clean.

Yeah, my board was awesome and locked for no reason as well.

My board actually had very little politics and absolutely zero violence - mods were grasping at straws so much, they believed that an offensive nkl was worth forwarding to admin - a post where a user said in one of his old CYOA stories that a fictional character had been executed. So an nkl referencing fictional violence on my board = too far, while full-on MK11 fatality videos sitewide, not a violation. Silly me, thinking that the rules here would be consistent.

^It was more like boiling it down to the basics than some PR attempt (board is locked anyway and didn't need one, registering in the top 10/top 5 rather quickly). We simply moved boards afterward.

You both decided that you wouldn't moderate content that violated the rules.

I took down + messaged users the reason why something had to come down, if it had to come down. I asked mods to do as they wished if they thought there were messages beyond that, but I had no takers - huge sign that there was nothing actually on the board, because it wasn't for their lack of trying (for example, the first time that I ever got a moderation downgraded without having to appeal, the overstepping was that blatant).

I also posted the whole admin thing the day of, and I was eternally vigilant from then on. I mean, any time there was a post about a fictional character's death...actually there wasn't any more after that, but if there was, I would be all over it. Keeping Gamefaqs safe so that no fictional anime character shall be hurt.

I was probably the most responsible, responsive board owner ever, and that's an understatement - esp. for fictional anime character safety. You may let the mod know that I saved these characters fictionally and cast phoenix down, if that helps unlock the board.
