Really hope they have this first game end definitively as a story arc without a cliffhanger. Because if it doesn't sell well like most of Platinum's games we won't see the full trilogy. Good to know there's no DLC plans though. I don't mind DLC if it's done right but it's also nice to know you don't need to buy/download anything else after the full $60 price tag.

Hopefully it does sell well.

Nintendo is pretty good at giving sequels to niche games at least so hopefully they get to make the trilogy they want. With Bayonetta and now Astral Chain I guess Platinum are going to be on Nintendo platforms for a long time.

I just worry about this being another 6 hour game from them with no replay value...really hoping I'm wrong

This one seems to have side quests and some hubs so I think it'll be a bit longer. Not sure if it'll have the tight difficulty settings or rankings like Bayonetta does though. That's the one downside of then moving to more RPG mechanics but I guess that's what Bayonetta is for.

I'm still wondering where Wonderful 101 for Switch is.

Seems like it might be a lengthy one for their standards like NieR Automata.
