Well, my first story to be published is making a little money, but not yet enough to make a living. By all means, everyone, feel free to spread the word on it.

Meanwhile, I am awaiting word on a couple places of work I've interviewed for recently, and I have so many other, different stories to write or finish so they can also be published. I have a long road ahead of me to make this author thing work. Any help I can get in this effort would be most appreciated. I would love a life of sharing stories, ya know?

So on a whim, I looked up my book on Google. On Goodreads one whole person left a review of two stars with no comment. I looked at their profile and found that they get their jollies off of rating low on books the vast majority of the time.

Some of those books even earn higher ratings on average.

Elysium Shining needs more reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads, preferably fairer ones or outright positive ones. If anyone would like to show some support in that way to help draw a crowd, I would appreciate it.

Also, I still recommend it as something to read.

I'm sorry it wasn't for you. One friend of mine told me it was one of those stories that picks up momentum as it progresses, and then is really good by the end.

Thank you for reading some of it. You don't have to scroll through to the end if you don't want to, as that would normalize your pages and help me further, but it's good on the other hand to get some feedback.

I am also hoping one of the current books I'm working on is more the speed of what some of my audience wants. For instance, I started a Western-Fantasy hybrid with a murder mystery at its core, and we'll see how that turns out.

A free promotion starts on Amazon in a couple hours. Here is to hoping it serves me well in getting the book sold.

Meanwhile, my infernal job hunt is grating as can be expected. I've at least had several interviews in the past month, even if they led to fuck-all.
