Ubisoft is not banning players. They are banning player-made quests that people made to exploit the system and cheese XP and money.

He's incredibly biased, and feels the need to throw his political opinions into literally everything despite being completely irrelevant most of the time.

I much prefer Bellular News these days. I like YongYea's stance on a lot of stuff too, but he's damn annoying and I kind of get the feel that he thinks he's more important than he actually is.

There's nothing wrong with the quests giving experience. It's just dumb when you boot up a player made quest and it's like sixty seconds long and then you get a massive amount of shit.

I don't know why literally anyone is upset about this decision. They are still letting players make custom quests, they're just making the system harder to exploit. They could have easily just *not* released a system for custom player-made quests altogether.

No one had to spend money on their microtransactions to begin with though. They put stuff like that in there because they know some players will, for whatever reason, actually drop money on it. But the MTX is 100% optional, especially since it is a single player game.

I would argue that "greed" implies they're locking content behind paywalls, like EA does with their sports games.

Ubi is taking advantage of an opportunity for sure but it's not invasive or anything. In fact a lot of their games are very accessible for standard paying customers.

How is that dumb? Its completely optional. Thats the same excuse all publishers use for micro transactions. Why does that not apply here?
