Employment status doesn't reflect citizenship. I wouldn't ever be a NEET, I don't really agree with someone being one, but they shouldn't be degraded or stripped of their rights because of that fact.

Personally speaking, I think prisoners should be allowed to vote, but I can see why a lot of people don't.

At the very least I think you should be allowed to vote the moment you've finished your sentence.

I think it should depend on the crime. Murderers, rapists, and pedophiles in my mind don't have a stable enough brain to make a decision on who leads our nation, when they violated the laws in the worst way possible.

You can also get a felony for selling weed, and that shouldn't deter someone from their voting rights.

Considering the US started from a war with "no taxation without representation" being a chief motivation behind it, I say no representation for those who've never paid taxes and have made no effort to ever be in a position to do so.
