I bought this album on a whim a few months ago and this was the one track that I immediately fell in love with, and I vowed to myself not to ruin it by immediately listening to it a hundred times like I almost always do with songs that I become attached to. And I've done a good job keeping that but today it's been stuck in my head and I had to listen to it a few times.

I think the combination of her somewhat muddled vocals, the tragic, haunting melody and that warped-sounding guitar in the chorus have such a nostalgic feel, like this is something I could have heard on a worn-out cassette 20 years ago.
