It's really depressing all these X-2 chars keep getting in when the one that'd have the best contest story (Shuyin) never gets any interest. I'm floored Leblanc is back in this tbh.

Hope was once the de facto #2 in the XIII hierarchy, but those days are now over. With his old supporters pretty much entirely gone, Hope has become wildly inconsistent, swinging between the top and bottom half with every placement. This placement drops him from 62.33% to 54.79%, down 12 spots to 39th and to third in the XIII rankings.

I'm floored Braska is in this, myself. Seems like he would only be nominated entirely for a gimmick run

Which was subtly what Leblanc Syndicate run was jabbing at as I see no reason to nominate Ormi and Logos for any other reason either

I didn't expect Braska to catch on like he did, but hey, good going I guess. Interested to see where it goes.

And as for Shuyin, I mean he has fans. I like Shuyin, he's cool. Better than Lenne and Leblanc if nothing else...

That's true.

It was one gratitude unit and one trade I believe.

Though to be fair the one trade was MartinFF7 who doesn't actually trade, just says "I want to save this thing I like does someone else want to save this thing I like" and specifically requested Leblanc. Which was fair because I was going to nominate Dr Cid for free anyway.

Yeah my original planned nom list was (in some order) Leblanc, Quina, Aranea, Auron and some 5th.

Then I noticed Doctor Cid wasnt in and, since the rest were more or less covered, went full in on getting him in... seeing some nice support for him so far so that's a good sign at least.

No more dragging a hopeless character as far as possible like last year though... Cissnei gets abandoned at a rank that betters her average... my heart can't take the pain.
