Playing it on steam and its really intense. Not very scary but i enjoy the feeling of isolation and tension.

The worst part about 3 was halfway through, they land you on a planet, so you're no longer in space. It was just weird for a game that used the space theme so prominently, to ditch it for half a game. Maybe it was budgeting or something, but the first half of the game was great, especially when they give you a bit of freedom to explore with some optional quests in space.

I really don't do well with horror or suspense games.

Even early on in the game I felt pretty unstoppable and never felt the same level of tension or fear the original managed to build. I think Isaac suddenly talking changed the tone a little too(no longer working as a self-insert) .
