Hold families indefinitely. Separate the family unit. Don't offer any basic hygienic measures or disease control. Don't allow them the ability to leave. Don't allow those that are born here any rights. This is a death sentence for so many. All of those things separately are bad enough. Look at it all together. These detainment centers are places people are being sent to die. Those that live will be burdened with trauma that will ruin lives. Atrocities care of the US government --- Not a doctor. Shh! ... What other options are there? Allow them to just run free to New Mexico? Apparently we're not allowed to just kick them back across the border so you have to put them somewhere. After a two week stay they're allowed to go free?
Everyone loves getting outraged over this issue but no one offers a solution. And it's not to just let them in. And maybe just a LIL blame should go onto parents dragging their kids 1,000 miles because PeopleWithoutBorders sold them an illusion that they can get across if they look pathetic enough? This would be considered abuse under normal conditions but somehow they escape all blame. Same with these advocacy groups who train these people on how to get asylum and then are nowhere to be seen when these folks find they can't get in. And lets ignore the fact that none of these people even qualify for asylum...saying "My community is real poor and has crime" is not a reason for asylum...we have plenty of that here already. Just saying it's not all mean ole Trump. I know this because I've talked to a few of Trump's supporters who think everyone's 'overreacting' to what Trump says or does Because they do overreact. Most of what he says never happens anyway. It's the boy who cried wolf where folks get crazy over every little thing he does. After a while, it's hard to take the reactions seriously. The japanese in camps were upstanding citizens that lost their houses their business. These people are basically just homeless people strolling across the border. If they didn't have so many unaccompanied minors coming here we wouldn't have to detain them. We don't even know who they are related to when they do stunts like this. These people aren't overstaying their visas they are coming into the country illegally. That means gang members as young as 14 are coming here and taking advantage of our system.
