So PSA, Korrina EX has a bug where you can break her AI and cheese the fight by using Palossand and chaining Sandstorms before her team can use any.

You need at least two for 4 Sandstorms total, the timing is kinda tight, and randos don't always know the strat, but it's easier than doing it normally or relying on Hilda.

Dokkan didnt start doing that for a long time though. You used to be able to stun or seal bosses for a long time. It took probably 2 years before they made them immune to that stuff and DeNA is doing this after a month >_>

Some bosses could get hit with status effects in early Record Keeper as well.

At least DeNA made that game pretty viable as F2P in the early days.

I just beat Korrina EX Very Hard using the bug and I don't even know how that fight is winnable otherwise.

The Bronzong ALONE nearly wiped the group after 6 Sandstorms worth of the enemy never attacking and Lucario not getting the sync off.

Only 6 free characters left to max level. Whitney, Norman & regular Brock dont really seem worth it though so they will definitely be last. Just leaves me with Pryce, Iris and Hapu

Can actually get like 300 gems from this new co-op mission set. Theres uh nothing else going on though. Not sure what DeNA is doing, but the game isnt gonna last if this is all the content it has going for it

DeNA have put out a letter from the producer Satoshi Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi addressing many complaints from fans. They have put forth an apology for the amount of problems the game has had, the small amount of content as they thought the current set-up and EX Challenge would be sufficient, but realise that EX Challenges are not for everyone and that they are sorry they brought the game to a point where there was little to do in it.

They detail four different complaints that they commonly saw:
Lack of content
Rewards for stages not being enticing
Level design not being amazing
Game is difficult to understand
With this, they have promised that they are going to change direction with how the game will proceed in the future with more content, more attractive rewards for completing stages and aim to make it so that you can use your favourite Sync Pairs rather than necessarily the strongest for the situation.

They will work on this but state it will take time. They'll provide periodic updates through letters, with the next one planned on October 17th. We'll provide more details as they come.

New training event actually has good exchange rewards and the evolution stage gives a nice amount of items too. The evolution login celebration us giving a decent amount of gems too. Seems like theyre really trying to improve things

The Electric training stage is also easy enough to just auto even on Very Hard with a max lv Raichu

They also have a second producer letter out on the notices page. Looks like they have a pretty good month-by-month plan with lots of improvements by the 6-month point in March. Maybe the game will be actually good then!

In the meantime it looks like the first improvement is the rewards in November. More rewards from events and f2p gems, as well as bronze Gatorades (and therefore silvers since 10 bronze = 1 silver is a decent rate).

Yeah, things looking pretty decent. I wish they would increase the event items you get now that the shop is worthwhile. Making 16~ per VH clear isnt much when theres probably a good 1,500 or more in the shop worth getting

Woah Special Login giving 300 gems a day for a while. Looks like it goes up to 4,200 gems. The Caitlin missions also give over 1,000 more gems

Oh yeah they are supposed to be rolling out reward changes this month. Caitlin event was a good start but this is pretty sick

The downside is the missions go up to 30 clears for her two stages. Its such a grind, but at least the rewards are good. Theres even a 3* and 4* power-up in the exchange shop for her event

Spent my first 300 gems and got Olivia :o

God they completely fucked up the auto AI at some point to make it even dumber than it was and it makes grinding this event unbearable. I have Chandelure which tears up the Reuniclus but the AI prefers to hit the adds it has no type advantage against and get hit by the sync move. So if you get into a party with other people using auto it's still winnable but takes way longer than it should.

I still cant beat a single EX stage

I've only done Korrina back when it was bugged and a couple of the hard modes. No Very Hards outside of bugged Korrina.

You basically need very specific 5* trainers and setups to beat them. Hopefully when they rebalance the game later it's more doable.

Yeah, Im on Hard for the stages and still dying. Why does everything have high power AoE in these things. I couldnt even beat Brock. How sad.

I beat EX Brock and EX Pryce on Hard. The fact most of these are impossible at just the Hard difficulty is dumb. Good thing theyre being adjusted in the future

Other way around for me, I got Glacia from Kris. Glacia's ability to draw attacks to her and sharply boost the party's special attack is pretty good.
