How the fuck are you washing the dishes?!

Maybe it's because I'm buying cheap earbuds, but they used to last months for me and since I started here its been like 2-4 week lifespans

Walmart Skull Candy brand. I've dropped them in steaming hot coffee multiple times and it didn't seem to phase them.

I know dishwashers in restaurants can get soaked through the course of a busy shift but for real how are your ears getting drenched?

I have a headphone question of my own.. if I buy a headphone splitter and leave it plugged in my TV, can I still listen to the TV speakers even if no headphones are plugged into the splitter? Or does that not work?

Nope. If there's something plugged into the headphone sockets the TV Speakers will automatically switch off, there's a switch or something in there. If you set up external speakers and plug them into the spillters it will work, that's what I do.

That still doesn't explain how you're washing the dishes!?

I mean, just the normal way, there's just a lot of back splash from the sprayer

A lot of them have been like that for me, and I don't even work in a wet area. Lots of headphones and earbuds are made super cheap these days and just don't last as long...

Then it's not the normal way...

Idk. That seems pretty normal from what I can remember. It does cause some back splash...

I'm like perfectly dry when I'm done with dishes. Even when I did it in a commercial kitchen.

I got a good amount of water on me when I did dishes. Most people seemed to where I worked. Maybe you did something different. i don't know many dishwashers who stay completely dry when washing dishes, tbh...

He's been acting weird lately. Well, I mean, he does a lot. He was insulting babies and saying they couldn't have birth defects. And insult cheese which is love and life. Possibly really drunk. Idk what's up with him...
