honestly I am afraid it's too good to be true. Like it's a 5 year selling process? like they cant even sell the team right, something could go wrong between then and now. or maybe after the 5 years since they'll still own 20% they'll still be the ones "calling the shots" and making decisions. and why does this need to take 5 years? the mets window to win is this year and/or next year, cuz 2021 is when a lot of the core guys leave. I really grew to love the players on this team and don't want to see like Syndergaard and deGrom gone by the time they have a different owner.

anyway I'm happy and this is probably the best day in my lifetime as a mets fan (how sad is that?) but even then it doesn't come with some doubt that something is going to go wrong or that it's not what it seems or something.

It shouldn't matter a bit to Selig how Wilpon and Katz survive financially he's the commissioner of baseball, not the commissioner of Sterling Equities.

Or as it he put it, when he stepped in and took control of the Dodgers from McCourt, his concern should be "to protect the best interests of the club."

Still, he said back in May, when he denied the New York Times story that Katz wanted out, and the Mets are hemorrhaging money: "Major League Baseball has all the economic information. This idea that I should have reason to be concerned is just wrong."

Thats what I figured. I feel like Hader is massively overrated. He can be dominant at times, but he also goes on long stretches where hes trash if he cant get people to chase his high fastball, since he doesnt have a secondary pitch (yeah he throws a slider, but its rare). I keep hearing Brewers fans talking about this amazing haul wed get in return for Hader if he was moved, and I just dont see it.

That being said, Id prefer Alonso on the Brewers instead of Hader, for obvious reasons!
