Kyle Lowry goes 2/18 in his return game and the Raps lose by single digits. They absolutely win that game without him, or with him if he decides, "hey maybe I should stop shooting since I can't hit a barn door with a beach ball right now".

It's going to be very interesting to see how that rotation looks with everyone healthy. The team nearly looked like world beaters without Lowry/Ibaka and with the emergence of a new bench mob, and I'm worried that with everyone back the minutes won't be there.

I don't recall much about Billups here - we weren't happy with Pitino and he probably impaired Billups career by not knowing what position to play him. In the 90s you kinda didn't expect a player to hit their potential for a few years. There's a different sense of immediate trajectory these days.

Jonathan Isaac is ridiculous. 2 blocks in the firts 30 seconds of the game (both separate possessions), 3 blocks in the first 3 mins. 4 blocks in the first 7 mins including a block on Giannis.

He should have 5 blocks but someone wisely decided to pass as he was about to block a 5th.

I have tickets for the Magic/Lakers tomorrow but my tickets are a weird promo where the season ticket is super cheap ($500 each) but the seats are randomly allocated 90 minutes before tip off which means if I want to sell them it's pretty hard so I usually just give tickets away for free when I can't attend.

Anyway, cheapest seats for tomorrow are $90. Given the circumstances of my tickets, I tweeted I wanted $150 for the pair and would meet at the stadium to transfer them. Someone who doesn't even follow me (or anyone I know) bought them within 45 seconds of the initial tweet. I have to assume they are a Lakers fan.

Looking into stats for our show and Jonathan Isaac slaps analytics in the face. His offense has started to blossom but it seemingly only happens in the second half. So I looked into why.

In the second half he reduces his attempts at the basket in order to take more long midrange shots (typically 15-18ft range). So he's exchanging one of the more efficient shots for one of the least efficient. It should have terrible results except it doesn't because Isaac increases his FG% from long midrange by 50% in the second half

He shoots 75% from 15ft and 82% from 20ft in the second half. It defies all logic

Have you looked at his clutch stat because it sounds like that's what being applied there.
