When I was born, I almost died. I was in critical condition and put in an incubator for the next 2 wks. Luckily I survived (spoilers!). But since my mom had 2 miscarriages before me she was always worried I'd die anyway...so she spent my life babying me. I wasnt allowed to go outside, I wasnt allowed to do any physical activity, I wasnt allowed to drive. The threat of death was just too high to allow anything to happen to me.

When I was a little kid my brother and I saved up our allowance to buy a fancy Transformer. We loved it. And when my dad found out, he marched up to our room, put it on the floor, and stomped it to pieces as we watched and cried.
