In Israel, our Prime Minister Bibi/Benjamin Netanyahu currently has 3 charges against him for bribery, fraud, corruption etc and he is asking for immunity If he is really guilty, why should immunity save him? I hope he won't get what he wants But I think there should also be more layers of protections from false charges for high-ranked policians, not immunity, but something that would stop mass false charges --- wololo ... in my cynical view, the main purpose of our justice system is to dissuade vigilantes.

Politicians should be punished more severely for crimes committed while in office.
