Do you think you're stronger than Alex?

18 y/o Alex Tilinca, is a transgender college student who opened up about becoming a bodybuilder and transforming is SCRAWNY figure to help him overcome his insecurity and fear that he would never look the way as a man should..and he finally ACHIEVED that figure!!

The kid from Long Island, New York was born female and went by Alexandra before transitioning to male as a teen but was unhappy with his "feminine features" early on so he discovered a supportive gym when he was a senior and developed a passion for bodybuilding.

He said "If people ask me, i always say i'm not a transgender bodybuilder. I do not want to be labeled as a transgender bodybuilder. I'm not a bodybuilder that happens to be trans. For me, being transgender is not something that should limit you or define you"

His parents, Florin and Monica said when he was a little girl, he preferred to trucksto dolls and had only boys as friends.

Before puberty, he suffered gender dysphoria, the discomfort a pereson feels due to a mismatch between gender identity and assigned gender

He realized something was wrong and felt societal expectations of a female that made him uncomfortable as he felt utter disgust with himself and the anxiety from people seeing him as a certain way

When it became too much, he told his parents he was transgender and while she didn't quite understand, she supported him and told him "You're my child, i love you no matter what"

Alex felt relieved as other parents out there with teens who come out are not always so supportive and couldn't be more grateful his parents were supportive

He started hormone therapy early on at 12 to block puberty and when he was 16 had "top surgery" to remove his breast tissue and began taking testosterone

At 18 he came in FIRST in his debut men's bodybuilding competition and it brought tears to his father's eyes who said seeing his son on stage and posing was "so empowering" and felt like a sign from the universe that he was doing something he loved

Alex said "I'm sure there's people that think i should not be able to compete with the other men, but quite frankly, it's not really up to them. Its up to the people that make the shows and they're very accepting"

He thinks the bodybuilding community has accepted him when they used to have "insecurity" where the belief alex would never look as a guy but he proved them wrong on his major transformation and win as he proved he can be as STRONG as the other guys.

Do you think you're stronger than Alex?

Ive never been to one of these competitions, so can someone who knows about this stuff clarify something for me?
Is there a part of these competitions where the participants actually lift weights? Or is it entirely about having a muscular physique?
Im sure the contestants are fit, but I dont think ive ever seen a picture of one of these events where the contestants were exhibiting or proving strength in any way, and so I dont know whats required to succeed in these things.

So those nipples... Did they shrink them during the transition or did they replace the fem nips with new male nips?
Or are we now simply looking at some uncensored female nipples?

Bodybuilding is all about peak muscular appearance, its form over function, strength training is where its function over form and you see the guys with the swollen looking stomachs as that is actual peak power without worrying about appearance

They're also extremely underfed and dehydrated before competition to look as lean as possible so they just have enough energy to flex a bit for the judges and crawl to the buffet table.

(Oh btw, they do do strength training but they're doing it to create gigantism, not for muscular efficiency.)

This, thank you. I'm a 32DD/34D, but my areolas are not that large, nor are my nipples. Interestingly enough, my husband has larger areolas and nipples than I do. Not sure why so many people think having breasts = huge nipples.

Yeah the extreme ones people wonder how they live their life like that but they actually cant stay in that form for too long, before having to revert to a more standard form for a while

Is he though? Literally part of the transition is taking TRT and hormones. I don't know on a chemical level if that matters long term.

Also, yeah I'm probably stronger. Mostly due to size. I can 100% beat this person up. I'M SO MANLY AND SHIT.

Depends on the league you're competing in. The one Mando competed in tested for steroids or things like testosterone.

You're in a physical competition, bodybuilding is a style thing. It's more akin to dance than combat so it doesn't matter how much they bulk up, just where they place it. If you're fucked on steroids and get big ol' tiddies and spots all over your body, who's going to consider your body good?

Yeah, that's fair. I think my issue is at some point it becomes more of a competition about which drug dealer/doctor has the best stuff. Don't get me wrong it's hard work to get and maintain that body, but if everyone is beast lifting and dieting, it's just a who has the best roids.

Nope. Feminists keep saying that women are equal to men in every aspect. Time to show it to justify all the privileges. They pushed for things like this? Time to live with it.

In the 90s there was a world champion bodybuilder who died from getting their body fat too low (like 2%).

The peak of size and leanness has already been achieved long ago so really it's just a matter of prefered physique. Style isn't done by roids.

No I'm not. Folks who don't work out aren't gonna be stronger then folks that do work out. Both my uncles worked out in their younger days and were pretty buff. One of them still does but I dunno how much longer after some kinda surgery he had on his shoulder last year.

Anyway good for this kid for being fit.
