Also a very odd change of character for someone that I'm worried about because he sticks around. I don't think it was good, and I'm worried about future casting decisions/character changes or how even how the current characters develop as they continue. Citation: read all the books, only played the 3rd game Spoilers: they really fucked up trying to give cahir a character so early, and vilgefortz is waaaay too scrawny and unintimidating. There are more, but those are big ones. Who they choose for the nilfgaard crew will be interesting to see. I can't wait to see them fuck up with Bonhart and pick someone completely wrong. Also, I can't help but notice what seems like either a running continuity issue, or an unfired Checkov's gun. Anytime we see Geralt pick up his sword bag, there's 2 swords yet whenever he's suited up for a fight he's only got the one longsword...but they clearly focus on 2 sword hilts sticking out of the bag more than once.
