Not long after it came out, I don't even think the online mode was ready when I last played it. I think I got it the Christmas after the game came out, and I completed the single player mode, and never went back.

I started a new playthrough a couple of months ago, but I didn't get very far before I got into a different mood. I'll pick it up again pretty soon, I think. Still need to finish RDR2, as well.

it felt weird going back to it after playing Red Dead Redemption 2, since the controls were really similar, yet GTAV's were also more fast paced and "smoother"

I only ever play for a week when an update with missions come out. GTA V is just so fucking played out for me

I gave up after the mobile base thing. They made everything too expensive and i couldn't be bothered to search for cheat modders to gift me money.

I have such an easy set up for money but they never release anything worth buying so if I start to play I get bored within minutes

They really needed a new map expansion. Every location has been used.

Got it at launch and beat it before GTA:O came out. Haven't touched it since.

I still play single player from time to time. I gave up on online a while ago. It got too crazy with all the military and future-esque vehicles and had too much stuff in it. Public lobby became just one big arms race and if you don't have the free time, extra money, or financial irresponsibility to keep up, you're left in the dust. Too much is required of you. Plus just regular burnout. I can't even play RDR online because I'm just burnt out on that style of gameplay.

Few days ago. Put some cheats on and fooled around for a while whilst we watched TV. I wish the invincible code lasted more than 5 minutes.

Me and my friend finished the campaign 2 and a half hours ago. It was my second time playing it to completion, and his first time playing it to completion.

Speed running heists for money with the regulars that i played with back then was pretty fun. We would either show off our rides every time we have to drive to a certain point or we race there.

Takes less than an hour to complete pacific standard for like 400k? I cant remember. But it was fun times.

Then when you actually got so good with a set of regular randoms, you finally get them to meet up and attempt the criminal mastermind challenge and actually completing it was satisfying as hell.

Cause we had to do it over 2 days as well. And i nearly had a heart attack on the garbage collection mission cause your not allowed heavy armour and i nearly died.

Maybe 6 months ago. Just free roaming. I haven't been to GTA online in maybe five years.

In Jan. 2020 at some point I think, might have been Dec. 2019, it is a fun game but Ive done most of everything I wanted to do in it so I moved on.

GTA V is still a much much better game then the shitty lack luster barebones crap GTA IV was.

A couple of weeks ago. It's one of my go-to games for just messing around. Usually, just go into Director Mode and cause some meyhem whenever I get the urge.

I think I ever played with the GTA CE crew like three times, it seemed like only two people ever actually played. Maybe it's cause I had it on PS3, Xbox One and then PC though, or maybe people just don't like me *shrug*

There's more people on it than I remember though so maybe it got more active after I quit playing GTA Online regularly?
