Bought a new truck a couple weeks ago. I love it. I don't know why I never considered buying one until now.

Why even buy an SUV? A truck with a tonneau cover (or a cap) is significantly better than an SUV; it's just so much bigger, spacier/roomier, and it has all the power you could ever want (unlike some of these "sport" utility vehicles that have less than 180hp with a V4 turbo... seriously wtf is up with that?).

My first vehicle was a Ford Escape. I have a Toyota Tacoma now.

The advantage of the SUV is your storage is air conditioned. Also bed covers are expensive. My Tacoma is a crew cab so I have room for groceries, but have to use the bed to haul large items. If it rains I'm fucked.

Tonneau cover is like 98% waterproof. But I never thought about climate controlled hauling...

We went to Costco than the supermarket and put all that stuff in the rear seats. Then, we went to Home Depot to buy some 12ft long 2x4s for our project.

Trucks are great.

The only SUV I would consider is a 4Runner, those are pretty cool. I'm probably going to buy a truck this summer if shit is calm by July, though I am not sure which one. I have money to spend, but I'm not sure an F150 fits my needs. I'll need it to be be by daily driver, and trucks in downtown Saratoga can get a little tight. Maybe a Ranger. I like the Colorado ZR2's, but no one seems to be high on Chevy trucks being reliable.
