i finally got around to revisiting dodonpachi soundtracks the other day. it's kind of odd viewing flotage 3b now as a result. i mean, you know, i'd be tempted to say that the guitar solo from like 1:35 in is about the only part really carrying it and it also sort of overshadows the rest, except that's also the only part unique to 3-B specifically so like... i don't really know how i should feel about it knowing that it's effectively the only part that is actually '3-B'

either way it's a straightforward decision here

First match is really good and it could go either way, but all the vocal songs here and yesterday has overloaded me on them. I think SoT barely edges out Flotage by the slimmest of margins despite that. I can easily seeing myself flipping that match later on.

I unexpectedly lost all access to the internet yesterday, so my 100% voting streak has come to an end. For those who were wondering, I would have voted for Partizans and Beyond the Darkness, but by a very slim margin. I'm just glad they didn't come down to one vote; then again, I'm happy with any of the four winning.

Mixed feelings on both of the tracks in the first match, and not a super strong preference toward one or the other. Could flip on that one. Both from sound teams I typically love too, but these aren't the greatest examples of why I obsess over either. still traits i can be positive about in both: Sky of Twilight has cool echoy synths, fun prog breakdown, chill moments, lots of stylistic/emotional variety; Flotage has cool thick chords and pretty fancily produced electronic elements i can appreciate~!

VERY strong preference in both match 2 and 3 on the other hand. The other day I happily listened to a playlist of 3 songs on loop for hours, of which one of was Endeavour, REALLY addicted to it lately. I liked it from long before the start of this contest, but it's grown on me to a point where it's up there with my long-time favorites for sure now. Can never get enough of PSO series' endless streams of constantly outdoing itself in emotional intensity and thick harmonies with startling shifty chord progressions. never a truly simple or empty moment no matter how beautiful or straightforward they create the illusion of. basically exactly the composition style i love most and um i like dramatic vocals : ) This isn't the craziest example of those "complex" traits I tend to look for in this series, but it doesn't need to be to tickle the emotion I desire to get out of this style. I'm addicted to this song. I am so happy listening to this song called Endeavour!!!

Endeavour & FEEL the POWER in YOUR SOUL are both songs I could listen to over and over again, so I'm sad to see them pitted against each other. That said, none of these matches were very difficult for me three clear preferences. But I'm a little shocked that I'm currently the only FEE voter! Maybe nobody else can FEE the POWER
