Current Events > Is Bioshock 2 supposed to be insanely easier than Bioshock 1? *spoilers*

Playing these games for the first time.

Bioshock 1...I just died all the time. I don't know how people play that game without vita chambers because I pretty much just gave up on using medkits and decided to just respawn anytime I needed to. Took around 3-4 lives to kill a big daddy even after research upgrades.

Bioshock 2 though, most enemeis die in a couple of hits. They're slower. You have more health and ammo. Weapons are more effectual and easier to aim.

There are other things too. Ammo is much easier to come by. There are various quality of life improvements. Hacking is simple and stressfree now.

I thought 2 was actually harder in the beginning, but you become much more of a powerhouse later on

Your weapons in 2 are much better IMO. That and you can focus on different gameplay styles other than bullet spam and wrench jockey.
