It's from the Smash Bros Ultimate board.
It all started last year on July 4th with a Happy 4th July topic, and one user was one day late to reply so he just said "But it's July 5th.".
And another poster then wished him a Happy 5th July and then it basically continued like that for a year.
A couple of people made it their goal to keep it going until the next year's 4th July.

I was never involved in the several topics the gag spanned over but the video was still entertaining to watch.

And the music he used in the video was great too.

It fittingly started with Pirate Lagoon from Diddy Kong Racing which gave it that light-hearted fun feel. And then the video ended with Reunited from Undertale which made it feel so sad when it was all coming to an end.
