I think a lot of it is just luck of the draw on who your specific delivery drivers are for your route. When I lived at my parents the ups guy was great about making sure packages were out of the rain, hidden from view from the road, etc. now at my house pretty much all my delivery drivers suck. I really dont see any noticeable difference between ups, fedex, or usps.
