It's always black guys getting killed by racist cops. What's up with that? Why do cops only target black guys?

Brown, Middle eastern, Latino, and Indigenous communities have spoken up about discrimination theyve faced by police though, in my country and Im sure yours too.
In Canada, Indigenous people talk about this issue a lot. There was the #idlenomore movement years back.

As for why Asians are not a part of this, read about the model minority concept. Its rooted in racism still.

Sure there is discrimination everywhere, but what I'm getting at is whenever there is a traffic stop, 911 call, etc and the police show up, it's always a black man getting killed. You never hear about that with any other minority. You never hear about other minorities getting gun down by a racist cop. They're always targeting black people. Why.

We don't pull out our phones, I guess. I would say my cousins get harassed all the time, but I can't trust their side of the story. I hung out with them, Im just surprised they're not all in jail all the time >_>. My cousin wouldn't listen to cops and walked back in his house, got tased and it broke his ps4 headset. He was using it when I was over there and it had a bunch of static and shit lol. My cousins are wild.

I believe Native Americans had one of if not the highest rates of being killed by cops. Latino is also a higher rate than white non-Hispanic. Asians have the lowest rate but they also have the highest socioeconomic status on average in the US. It's likely a combination of stereotyping (positive stereotype is still a stereotype) and living in neighborhoods that are wealthier and receive more casual policing.

There have definitely been cases of Latinos who have been killed in the Bay Area by police. Sean Monterrossa, Erik Salgado, and Alex Nieto to name a few

Funny thing is, most of us just let black people have their spotlight and don't work against it like white people. We know it helps us too, unlike white people. There are some racist ass mexicans too tho. I was never mad we never got spotlighted. Then again, my whole style is staying low-key and pushing others forward, so don't take me as a voice for anyone else.

Yeah, I have to think that's a thing for us particularly pale Hispanics. My family will put me up to the task if we get pulled over, also.

I wouldn't doubt asians are higher socioeconomically than other minorities, and it could explain why they don't commit as many crimes or put themselves in situations with police as much. However, I'm sure there are asians out there that have run into police, but I've never heard of one getting mistreated by police...much less getting killed.

i dunno, some combo of compliance and racism or something?

Not really. It's always black killings man. I still don't really get it. It's as if the police are singling them out or something. If the police are racist, wouldn't they go after other minorities too?
