Paryi himself is a pretty significant person on bilibili, and as a result all the talents associated with him also have larger fanbases over there, which is fortunate in the case of the Chucolala members who are otherwise pretty damn unsuccessful for pseudo-commercial vtubers. That said, it was always only a relative thing, they were still very obscure, and Erio herself was one of the worst off. So... having the biggest stream ever gaining 125k subscribers in a day wasn't exactly something people expected https://youtu.be/1c0V134P72Y whatever the cause of this attention, i'm pretty glad it happened since it has really planted the group in an excellent position to define the landscape of the vtuber scene over there which has otherwise been imploding thanks to hololive's abandonment of the platform (besides HoloCN who appear to be potentially becoming indies). UF8 10/22/20 3:35:42 AM #267:	of course, there is one major thing i guess you were suggesting, in that the "micro indies" don't have other people on them that you can really watch them with... but that's not really the case. 20ish viewers used to be a standard for the english vtuber community a couple of years ago and they never even felt particularly empty (in fact, that could be defined as "pretty good" then with the steady stream of comments coming in that they could respond to all the time). now you can find international fanbases for pretty much anyone at that level, and pretty much everyone i post is at that level now because that's how much more popular virtual youtubers are period now really about the only difference between watching good "unpopular" streamers and good popular ones is just that there isn't any obnoxious spam happening (outside of emotes during karaoke streams) in the former. (also the lack of consistent live translators, but these days they can only really be seen on specifically holostars streams now since hololive streams proper go too fast to read any comments lmao) <cite>UF8 posted [p:946144418] in vtuber sta... Sadly, that seems to have been a little too much to ask for. In any case, i'm very hyped for both of these (even if i'm sadly going to have to watch Meguri's later). Both of them are properly starting in about 40 mins, though Ruri's is scheduled to go live 15 mins sooner. Regarding the other former members, Setono Toto (who's in the same vsinger unit as Ruri now) is just planning to do a minor stream on REALITY after Ruri finishes. Kagetsu You doesn't seem to be planning anything for the time being. Hololive drama's seems to have a lot of shit involving external stuff, but Nijisanji drama seems to be between the talents.
