IIRC Chunky was in another topic recently saying that black people should also get punished for saying the N-word, so he's got a pretty extremist take on the use of the word. From what i remember believes anyone using the word at all in any context should get in trouble.

Sure, anybody could survive without any word, that doesn't mean letting people ban words isn't quite likely to end in bad places.

We could survive without jokes about certain controversial subjects, but I'd be scared as hell if people started advocated such jokes be banned.

Disapprove of the person Karl was defending, disapprove of Karl, those are fine. But "I gotta end this person's career and they are a racist forever" because they have a perspective different than yours. That's not ok.

I'm not saying that's what you are doing, but the people who do subscribe to that concern me greatly.

She seemed to say Billy was not the cause, but nobody is saying billy "caused" it. You can't cause something like that.

But you can be a person that provides considerable distress and financial burden on somebody. And that's a really shitty thing to do to a person who is suffering, regardless of how that person responds.

Well I definitely do not think Karl was or anybody sensible is saying he caused it because you can't cause such a thing for somebody else.

idk if some randos somehow think it's possible to cause this to happen, but if there are I don't support their claim.

i can't say who it was, but Billy Mitchell threads always pique my interest, and I think the hate for him is overblown and I genuinely believe that so don't interpret me as a troll, so I try to drop in to defend him, sometimes a little tongue in cheek but I believe he's not that bad.

But I've had a poster reply to me in one before and basically say he thought that Billy Mitchell was the reason for Apollo legend killing himself.

It is a sad situation, I used to watch apollo legends videos, I love him and summoning salts videos.

I feel like the fact that Billy Mitchel did some streams 1-2 years ago, and got a 1 million point game in donkey kong people need to just let it go, clearly he has the skills at donkey kong. Pretty sure him and Steve Wiebe have reconciled as well.

You must not follow Billy Mitchell much, because he sues and lies like crazy. So people would have easily let it go 10 years ago if Billy just stopped lying and trying to sue everybody.
