Every guy working an entry level retail job thinks they pay more in taxes than the wealthy and I'm not sure how we arrived at that level of delusion.

Did you not see Bezos pay zero taxes one year?

Pretty sure retail workers paid more in taxes than he did

and the reason that said person working retail is using that many public services is because corporations refuse to pay a living wage to their employees

while people like Bezos or Elon get to travel to space on our dime

They pay more of a percentage in many cases, the dollar amount is a bit more rare but not unheard of like the Bezos example above.

^This is exactly why I think that retail workers work harder than most rich and wealthy people because Bezos is clearly a mooch off our hard earned tax dollars

The middle class get zero benefits off taxes that they're paying. It's always the poor or rich that benefit from it all.

Someone who buys Amazon products and works for Amazon is more useful to the owners of Amazon than that person's tax dollars... for the owners of Amazon

In literal dollars, no. But as a % of their income, yes. Especially once sales taxes are taken into account.

Yes. I'm pretty sure that's still a tax - and given that you yourself just called it one, pretty sure you recognize that too.

It's not a federal tax, which is pretty obviously what's being discussed

I'm pretty sure that taxes still end up taking away from someone's income whether they're federal or otherwise.
