There are so many great movies out there that Siskel and Ebert either hated, or one of them hated. Go to the movies and make your own judgement call. If you listen word for word what others say, you may be depriving yourself of a good experience. Case in point, Siskel hated the Crow, but Ebert loved it. As someone mentioned, China out of no where really loved it compared to most marvel movies Venom pre MCU probably was the 3rd or 4th most popular marvel character. Spidey and wolverine were 1 and 2, 3 was hulk or venom. Tom Hardy is a popular guy. People want to see him like they want to see Jason Momoa as aquaman.
