I investigate further and it turns out the PS5 has been disconnected from the power outlet. Unusual but whatever. So I plug it in and immediately start hearing strange sounds from inside the PS5. Clanking sounds. Well, it seems that in my toddlers assimilation journey... she figured that the CD drive is very much the coin slot of a piggy bank. She put a bunch of change in it.
