I have gone back and forth multiple times with my old dock and old switch and the new ones - the difference is extremely noticeable. The image is much more crisp and pristine on the new ones, and I just can't figure out why that is since they're both 1080p

The Switch OLED has a new picture calibration called "Vivid" that they tuned to supposedly best bring out the colors in Nintendo games. You can change it in system settings. See if the OLED and original look the same after switching it to "Standard."

well... did you check just in case Just for kicks I just tried it, doesn't seem to have done anything. I actually prefer vivid mode off in handheld mode because it's a bit too oversaturated. Maybe, I did hear that your dock can go bad overtime. Maybe it's not that the new docks are better but that the old docks are getting old/worse lol
