If others see characters with more saves, they may reorder their priorities as well. Meaning someone who's, say, saving Kirby and Marth may switch to Marth before Kirby because Kirby's not getting saves as quickly. It actually came down to two Smash 64 characters, Kirby and Ness. But the squeesh boi lives to see another day!
