I tried it via PS+ and I was loving it. The tutorial mission was teaching me the game, I was enjoying the combat, trying out different weapons I picked up from loot, the boss fight was fun. I was ready to get into this!

And then after that it tosses you to endgame with busted gear and the entire skill tree unlocked and then everything you can do after is timed

Dude if they had let me just play the game and earn my way up to that point I feel like I would have loved the game but idk nowI kind of want to play the game the way it was intended to be played lol

Yeah. But seriously, it sounds like you're not playing Godfall. Sounds like you're playing Godfall: Challenger Edition. For some reason they decided to give this away for free everywhere, Xbox, PC platforms, PS. That's not the actual game. It's just a few end game boss fights.

It's confusing with the whole Challenger Edition, because apparently it's a seperate game from the base game that has a story mode.

Yeah, throwing us into endgame and taking all of that info dump at once was a little off putting

I disagree, it's a hack and slash but it feels so lifeless. It tries to be souls like but it fails.

Star Wars: Fallen Order is a much better game.
