Just two achievements away from the free sync from book of trials XX... really not looking forward to grinding out enough shifting motes to unlock another 29 characters level 3 job orbs

Also dumb that it counts characters instead of orbs so itll be easier to do it on useless characters with only one orb instead of characters I actually could use the 3% buff on with two or three orbs

No cutting edge lightning tech, but Ashe (Sync1+AASB), Matoya (AAAB, USB, AOSB) and an admittedly pretty strong Garnet (SB G+, CSB, Sync1, AASB1) were enough to get the job done.

It took a few tries to figure out optimal Moogle turns to stay alive, but damage output was really not an issue.

Man Hopes Sync is so busted.

Needed to re kill Diabolos for Dr. Mogs homework, and though I still need a physical
kill, I was running short on time. Took out Rydia from my previous kill a while back, tossed Hope in, and killed Diabolos in 19.10.

Also, honing Caits AASB was also a great call. Have his glint+ for the def/res/mind buff, and basically just spam ACM.

I beat physical weak Anima! I put this one off for a long time because I wanted to max out Beatrix's hero gear by finding copies while I get Leo's stuff, and it took a long time to find 3 more save the queens. And then she kept failing against Anima Even with hero gear her damage was surprisingly low. So I swapped her for Orlandeau and I got the win!

I already have enough gems for two selects so now I have a spare. Could still take Hope's when it's available, but maybe I'll get Vivi's instead. Although I guess I still need to beat XIII DK

Yeah, she was disappointing for me too. It makes me sad since she's one of my favorites. But when I swapped her out for Agrias the fight got a lot easier.

I finally decided to spend the scrolls on Orran AASB and got the physical Anima win.

I wasn't sure how to best use the Orran+Elarra combo. I basically had Orran spam his HA nonstop and Elarra was spamming Ode to Victory, first under her AASB, then linked to her Sync1 cmd 2. I'm sure that's not actually optimal, but it seemed to get the job done well enough.

This focused draw actually looks pretty solid! I have five dupes though, so no draw for me.

The MVP mail is out, looks like we're getting two Labyrinth groups this month, Dark and FF12. And Core Bahamut this week. We haven't had this many superbosses since the gauntlet in August/September.

I could use that one; I have Laguna's chain but nothing else for him. I have Fran's AASB2, though!

The real thing I'd want off the banner is Vaan's chain, though.

I'm glad we're getting another labyrinth that's 3 weeks instead of 4, I hope there are more short ones in the future. Oh, and maintenance should be next week, hopefully we'll get the realm banner refresh then.

Physical Salamander is also dead now. Jeez, this guy is tanky as hell. I had a much harder time with him than physical Anima, despite a stronger party overall.

I should probably stop putting off getting those 30%s...

Got 5/5/8 for everyone this group now besides Pecil and Hope (both with 4% armor) and both of those are Anima rewards I guess!

Finally grinded out those 55 ability spheres to get the BoT XX sync draw and got... Aphmaus sync

How much does this help her? I have Lilisettes AASB too, so bringing her and an off-realm healer is also a possibility for XI stuff.

I think it's Aphmau's best relic currently.

Core Bahamut is tonight, the final dragonking! I dunno if I can beat him day 1, I only have Wedge awakening/sync, Dr Mog awakening 1 and Serafae awakening. Maybe I'll have to try and beat phase 1 with only USBs I suppose.

i might do a pull on tonight's banner but I don't really want Biggs stuff since I'd rather go mage.

I have Wedge SA/AA/LBO, Biggs AA/G+, and Serafie AA/G+. Biggs G+ gives major infusion because of a programming error or something which is convenient. I could maybe do it with that but would rather not have to lens two USBs just to give Biggs/Serafie another gauge outlet; gonna do at least one pull (also would be nice to get a 7* weapon for Biggs since core has no realm artifacts).

My core team also feels pretty janky. I have Wedge's sync and awakening. I have two awakenings for Dr. Mog but they're completely different elements and one of them doesn't doublecast (and his prismatic HA has really bad damage). I have Tyro's awakening/dyad but he's not really an offensive character. For Shadowsmith I used Rain with just his awakening and nothing else. It might be enough but it doesn't seem like a good team.

I want to try a wind mage team with Wedge (AASB+LBO), Tyro (Sync+Dyad), Dr.Mog (AASB1+Sync) as my dps and Cait Sith/Elarra as support/healer

I'm absolutely not convinced that's good enough, but I think it's probably the strongest Core/Beyond team I can put together.

I screwed up P2 and idled for too long in P2 waiting for souls to go up... Biggs got memory bit and Wedge wasted a turn out of wing wall using a BDL. Biggs damage kind of sucked with the elemental weapon and no crit buffs, but his overstrike HA was consistent rage breaks even if it was only doing like 30k.

I did have to spend 2k lenses on Biggs and Serafie USBs (plus buying Serafies HA).

I guess this is also my first time beating new relevant content on the day of release!

Tried again using Biggs' AASB in P1 instead of Serafie's and got my time down to 32:15... not quite close enough! Wish Serafie's AASB didn't have radiant shield which is basically useless but wastes a lot of time on extra ticks (though I doubt it wasted over 2 seconds).

Congrats on the clears... how were you guys breaking King's Rage? I used Dr Mog's water AOSB with a full chain and it only did 14k per hit which was pretty pathetic. I guess maybe I need Cait Sith instead of trying a full realm team. I might wait for maintenance and spend some tickets on the core banner.

Wedge was doing at least 25k under sync+awakening and Biggs overstrike HA

I also combined Wedge sync and awakening in phase 2, with Serafae's imperil HA he cracked King's rage easily.

Did a few runs of the 15 floor lab to try and get a 5% Pecil shield

Ive found two more 5% Arc staves (which were what took me like 20 runs before) and zero Pecil shields at all!

Dream selects are tomorrow! I'll probably pick up a Trey awakening to with his Dual Awakening I recently got. I still need to beat physical Enkidu, Snow Giant and Salamander and hey he covers all 3 of those elements!

Maybe CoD sync to for Nexus Alexander but apparently he's really easy I might not need it. Though there is a FF3 Labyrinth in the future so maybe.

The ones I was really wanting were Hope and Fujin's syncs. But those won't be available until next time, so I'm probably going to do one pull and grab Vivi's. He's one of my favorites, it's a good sync, and it seems like it would combo really well with his DASB which is on the really awesome 7A Banner 3.

Geez even with Trey's dual awakening this was still an RNG micromanagement fuck fest! This is one of the most irritating bosses in FFRK history with the bulk, interrupts, high damage, non infusion stuns, confuses and most of all that shitty last phase with barely any time to kill him!

Aw geez I still can't seem to beat physical Abductor even with a dual awakening ! UGH. What a bastard. Maybe I should just hone Sarah's awakening but I might put tickets into FF1 for Master's sync, and we might 10 dailies after maintenance.

Saved 45 bucks by taking the subway instead of a Lyft home from the airport so maybe I'll dream Cait's awakening after all if I don't happen to get it while spending my tickets!

Yeah, I was trying to sub-30 ice giant since I have Noctis's DASB (and sync and dyad and awakening) but I was nowhere close. I guess it's kinda good that DASBs don't totally trivialize the top level content but also frustrating.

Got the Salamander ticket (got the magic version down to 48.6% before getting blown up). Ice Giant and Kraken might be dicier...

(Though I majorly fucked up with my healing on that run and had to rez Arc and Gogo with Elarras AASB, wasting Arcs sync and some buffs. Guessing I could probably get to P3 with that team but fuck it)

This time I had Wedge use meltdown on Biggs at the beginning to trigger his trance LM which gives him +50% ATK which it turns out helps a lot!

Aw maaaan I got Enkidu down to under 1% but I got maze gated! If only Trey had quadcast I would have won Man I wish Kiros' sync was dream selectable, I'm getting really tempted just to hone his awakening at this point.

I gotta say that's pretty sad that Kiros does better than Celes with just 1 cap break than she does with 3. Not sure if shows how good Kiros is or how bad Celes is. Maybe both? I think Kiros is gonna make my physical Alexander team with this performance.

Yeah Kiros has been pretty solid for me... I ended up using him for VIIIs DK with just his AASB and USB instead of Seifer with SASB+AASB (a lot of that was because I needed the ice imperils on his AASB entry for Rinoa, but still...!)

It does feel kinda weird that FF is better than his HA for dark though

How many tickets does everyone have and what are your plans for tomorrow's refresh? I will have 18 with tomorrow's login bonus. If our cutoff is the same as JP had, I'm thinking of doing some II pulls because of the 4 elemental CSB+ and some good syncs like Maria's and Leila's bio sync. I'm definitely hoping we'll get a later cutoff with some DASB though.

I have 8 (plus two I still need to get from lab missions). Im probably gonna spread the tickets around on several different things. Maybe one or two each on fire/FFT/XV since Im weak in those and then a few in VI/VII/IX in hopes of maybe getting some support tech?

Finally managed to sub-30 Zeromus. Im not sure why it was so difficult (besides me being cheap and not leveling the HC beyond 80); I have a 4 BDL team and both Golbez and Pecil now have HE. The first retry today I got him in 30.5s, and then barely managed a 28.15s clear (chain was probably a tick or two from falling off) by using Mog USB1 in P1 (which meant I had to build a bar of gauge in P3 under full break). Zeromuss damage reduction is kind of insane though, and he goes back up to rage 3 so many times!

I also went back to improve my time on XIV DB for fun since my DK time was better even with overdrive unlocked... got him down from 29.X to 21.5.

With that Im at 10/18 DB with all 10 sub-30d (5 with 4 sub-30s for DKs)

I have 16 tickets going to FF11 in hopes of Zeid sync since that's probably the thing that could get me the Bahamut win. If I get it I'm gonna move onto FF1 to try and get Master's sync (and Thief and Meia's would be nice too.) After that probably FF8 to prepare for the Crystal Dungeon.

No clear goals. I would like to buff up some realms that are Dragonking borderline so I can do the quests that we get for completing 1-2 so FFIV FFVII FFX FFXIII. FFII also but I feel like there aren't many prizes there since I have a stacked Minwu and Emperor
