IAMA has a burden where if you cannot prove it's true to the mods then it gets deleted even if it's actually true.

That requires effort by the mod team though and the mods of anti work are probably not big on effort.

Yeah, idk what their deal is. Its like they are intentionally hearing the direct opposite of what people are saying to them. I guess I should follow in Umbreons footsteps and utilize the ignore function.

Sorry for lack of details but just recently I was reading a story about striking workers being repeatedly rammed with vehicles on the picket line. Like severe bodily harm was being done to them. And what the major news outlets reported was that the striking workers were damaging peoples cars.

Does anyone have the screenshot of someone accepting fake stories? All I see is the one where someone is saying they believe a story but that "what's important" to the point they're making is that in a fair society the story wouldn't even even be plausible and nobody would be arguing about it.

Not really a valid comparison. IAMA only verifies the identity of the poster or their occupation, not the stories they tell.

People talking about their toxic workplace in public might have a good reason not to say where they work.

So there are people ITT who are okay with antiwork lying and fake stories, they believe it helps. Some people don't wanna believe antiwork is lying. Some believe there's no way to stop the fake stories so whatever. And then some believe the fake stories fucks up the core value.

I guess. I've lived without working and it's not much different. I've done both, the only thing I haven't really done is worked jobs that use projects over routines.

Yeah, even if they don't/can't fire you, it can result in a hostile environment.
Like, back during the BLM protests, my Whole Foods (in sleepy Milford CT!) garnered infamy when one of my coworkers trashed our store on social media for cracking down on pro-BLM protest so hard. She wound up getting retweeted by jaboukie and it went viral and all the leadership would glare at her every time they saw her and some of her allies in the back said that they were talking trash behind her back (and even believed she was behind our shirts!).
They probably would have fired her if it wouldn't have been obvious as to why. They were always careful to refer to stuff as "dress code issues", because even they knew they were wrong on some level.

Have 0 sympathy for predatory employers. I think the worst thing overall is how out of tune they are with how predatory they're being. But as if that would be forgiving as opposed to being predatory willingly. It's been a long time coming, and the abundance of information is the cause of people quitting their shit job left and right. Last thing anybody should want is to be a walking dead

How are they going to automate away my job of getting carriages, stocking the front end with stuff, and helping customers in various ways?
Like, I guess they could go full Aldi's, but the robots don't exist(and then part of how they justify overcharging customers will be gone). Even self checkout lanes require the customers not to screw up (and make it easy as hell for customers to straight-up steal stuff lol).
They would still need Prime shoppers and Prime delivery drivers even then.

I've noticed since forever that certain folks praise and yearn for automation only because it takes away jobs from people they see as inferior. It's not about better service, it's about spite.

It's the opposite actually. Those shitty jobs should be automated because no one should have to work them.

Amazon warehouse is the main example of this where everyone's QOL could be improved by automating the bulk of the work.
