It took the jury 2 hours to convict Chandler Halderson of the murder of 53 y/o Bart and 50 y/o Krista Halderson in the summer of 2021 and also guilty of false information on a kidnapping as well as mutilating and hiding their corpses He murdered his parents on July 1st after his Dad caught him lying about attending Madison Area Technical College and then claiming he worked for aerospace company SpaceX and as a police scuba diver and for the American Family Insurance Company But he was really not working and dropped out of college and was spending their money on himself such as his girlfriend and VIDEO GAMES. He shot his dad int he back of the head just hours before the 2 were to meet at Madison College officials to talk about his status when Bart found out he was not attending classes. But a week later, he reported them missing claiming they failed to return from a weekend trip to their Cabin. Barts remains were found in a rural area the day Chandler was arrested and his body was dismembered and 6 days later found Kristas remains along the Wisconsin River. Police collected ashes from the fireplace in their home which contained human remains and it was said that Chandler CHOPPED their HEADS off and put it in a POKER in the FIREPLACE so it would destroy any evidence from dental records. The prosecutor showed evidence to the jury with gruesome details of the killing and that he was guilty beyond reasonable doubt...
