Go far enough left and you have people that are just as gun crazy

Some people on the right don't differentiate liberals and leftists.

because nuance doesn't exist and everyone is either 100% "liberal" or 100% republican

Because 90% of the people that say "we need to take the guns off the streets" are usually Democrats that want the inner cities they live in to be safer, and Conservatives see that an hear "They're coming for ma guns!"

Where most people, Conservatives as well as Liberals, just want some sensible gun ownership laws to be put on the books. It'll tighten the reigns on illegal gun ownership, and it'll also protect gun owners that own, store, and protect their firearms the proper way.

What does gun crazy mean?

Its not really a stretch

they believe all latinos are illegal

all black people ar thugs

all leftists are vegetarian hippies

these people dont like to get to deep if your either straight, white, christian and rich or we gotta drop you into a category

Democrat controlled areas are war zones.

Republican areas are cookie clean.

That influences peoples perception on guns and the such.
